Why is the World Really Flat?
I was sitting in history class and we had a speaker that was talking about how he came across a new discover. The teacher had forewarned the class that the speaker had some wild and rash philosophies. But when Mr. Geo came to speak I couldn’t see what was so strange about him. Sure he came off a little strong, but he made some very clever points. When you walk out of your house and you just look straight, do you see a curved street or yard? No, it is flat. Do you ever feel upside down, like all the blood is rushing to your head? No, because it is flat. The whole globe is completely wrong. The word is more like a map.
He made it a point that you wouldn’t or couldn’t fall off the edge because of the atmosphere. It makes total sense. As the rest of the class was giggling and making crazy history man doddles, I was laughing at them because they were blind. How could you not see it? Of course, no land would be around the outside if the earth. It would all be water. One day I will visit the edge of the earth and I just can’t wait!
