1. What did you think of this narrative?
It kept me interested because it is so unbelievable that she could do this.
2. What was most interesting or engaging about it?
The fact that she was capable of this. As i was reading i just kept thinking "how?" I would be way to mad to keep going and fighting like Helen did.
3. What surprised you?
Her positive attitude. She never seems to let her situation get to her.
4. Did this change your outlook on Helen Keller at all? Why or why not?
No, because I had already heard these kinds of stories about her.

-There were barriers still, it is true, but barriers that could in time be swept away.
-I was keenly delighted when I felt the fragments of the broken doll at my feet.
-Have you ever been at sea in a dense fog, when it seemed as if a tangible white darkness shut you in, and the great ship, tense and anxious, groped her way toward the shore with plummet and sounding-line, and you waited with beating heart for something to happen?
6. How can a narrative be more engaging than something like a biography? Why is it important to get someone's personal perspective?
Make more suspenseful moments. Because everyone has a different view.
