Why I Want a Wife:
1. This essay is very to the point. The thesis is that wife’s doing everything for their husbands and children and it would be great to have one. I can’t agree more. If my dad didn’t have my mother, he would fall apart. My mom always knows where everything is and seems to have no problem handling almost. On week my mom went out of town and it took me, my sister, my dad and my friend Stephanie to equal one of my mom.
2. The repetition of “I want a wife” to me is her agreeing with herself. The more she writes the more she thinks, “Wow I really do want a wife”. A wife is like your own personal secretary.
3. I do think that Brady is being extremely sarcastic. Although who wouldn’t want a wife like Brady explains? Brady’s point is that those wives should exist. I am sure the Brady feels she is put on that level of being the “perfect” wife.
4. The way she writes about a wife, is almost like a super hero. Someone that can be everywhere at one time and do 50 tasks at once. The amazing things are I’m sure these are task that Brady does on a normal day basis. You can tell that Brady things the way a wife is explained in her essay, is horrible. She wants her readers to see how under appreciated wives really are.
5. Dear Brady,
Think your essay is funny and clever, but most of al honest. I could see my mom reading this and just shaking her head with agreement the whole time. It is horrible how many responsibilities are put on you guys. The amazing thing is how wives are still able to pull it off. I give you my upmost respect. Having said that, you should never have to do a whole family’s worth of task. After reading you essay I really do want to help my mom out and talk to my dad and see how he treat her as well.
