I am from the sauerkraut and beer of Germany,
to the pastries and berets of Paris.
I am from the parades and Bicentennial of Worthington.
I am from the tee that's made up from Hawthorne and Poe.
I am from cops and robbers, kickball and kick the can.
I am from dirt pies and made up worlds.
I am from trying on sports like clothes.
I am from learning how to do your hair with a fork from Ariel,
I am from puddles of water turned into oceans.
I am from times of crazy,
and times of hope.
I am from the glass half full.
I am from the middle of two sisters,
pulling hair and laughter.
I am from a home without dust,
and where you have to count your steps.I am from distant family,
and strangers for Grandparents.
I am from the Bernard family tree
All these things make up me,
I am Lauren
Really cool poem...I especially love the tea with hawthorne and Poe line and the trying on sports like clothes...very cool!
